As a member of our Project Team, you will be responsible for completing rehab and repair of properties as assigned. This may include bath fixture replacement, drywall construction and repair, small concrete replacement, removal and construction of walls, removal and replacement of cabinetry, and similar work. Incumbent may complete projects working independently or as part of a small team. Primarily working indoors. Normal work hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday thru Friday.
Essential Job Requirements and Functions:
1. Previous remodeling experience preferred.
2. Experience in a directly related carpentry field.
3. Drywall finishing a plus, but not required.
4. Cabinetry experience preferred.
5. General plumbing experience.
6. Electrical experience in switch and outlet replacement, light fixtures.
7. Demonstrated proficiency of construction tools and equipment, including but not limited to saws, drill, levels, hand tools, etc.
8. High School or equivalent education with three or more years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
9. Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to a diverse group of people.
10. Possesses ability to receive and implement direction.
11. A self-starter, highly motivated and goal -oriented individual who is a team player.
12. Ability to operate common office equipment and basic computer skills.
13. Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to stand; walk; sit; grasping, bending, or twisting, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; pushing and pulling, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and speak clearly and hear well. Must be able to lift, carry or move up to 50 up to 100 pounds.
