Maintenance Support Staff

This is a Contract position in Fargo, ND posted May 16, 2022.

Company Bio: JANX is a well-established company and leads the market in highly specialized non-destructive testing and inspection services.

JANX is located in the center of numerous unique industries which provides our employees with a wide range of experience.

We provide NDT, new construction, maintenance, and inspection services in all aspects of the oil and gas industries, including exploration, transmission, refining, storage facilities, and all oil related support industries.

Position Purpose: The purpose of the Shop Support Staff is to support USA operations of JANX by assisting with vehicle preparation, mobilization, and demobilization based on project or customer demands as well as assisting with all building maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities: Support all the operational requirements as needed for project mobilization, demobilization or other operational needs in the timelines as required; this includes preparing and loading of trucks ensuring proper supplies and equipment as need for the type of work (radiography) and ensuring vehicle is operable and field ready by the customer driven timelines.Support and assist with equipment builds such as darkrooms under the direction of the Operations Manager.Support and assist with routine building maintenance such as air filters, lightbulbs, and other required building maintenance as requested by the Operations Manager for the Parma office.Assist with vehicle drop off or retrieval as work and field operations requirements change.Assist with other JANX office requirements such as inventory and transporting JANX property for office closures or openings.Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.Follow and enforce Company policies at all times.Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externallyEnforce and abide the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policyPerform all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Not applicable.

Knowledge and Skills: General knowledge of construction principles for JANX darkroom builds.General knowledge of field operational equipment and supplies requirements.The ability to understand the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Demonstrates a systematic approach in carrying out assignments.

Is very orderly and excels at cutting through confusion and turning chaos into order.Shows willingness and aptitude to use own discretion in taking appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems; presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures.
