Worldwide Category Marketing – Digital Content Lead

Team Xbox is seeking a new leader to drive our digital content at retail strategy, planning and current operations.As digital game sales continue to increase and gain share against disc sales, our digital presence at retail and our consumer experience is critical to growing the business.

As the leader for digital content distribution at retail, you will own and drive how digital games are sold (full games and DLC), both via digital codes on web and code to content (C2C) cards and other physical form factors.**Responsibilities**+ Develop and create the worldwide strategy and business planning/management for digital content sold externally via retail channels to attain program and revenue goals.+ Manage a vendor team of 7-8 portfolio managers, data analysts and project managers who execute the programs (total team of 10+).+ Lead project initiatives to modernize retail distribution of game codes as a primary retail purchase option.

Develop pilot digital game sales programs (live code in a box, POSA codes in a box, steel books, etc.)+ Drive research evaluations and in-market pilot tests of new form factors+ Manage $2.5M program budget+ Collaborate with 3P Publishing Partner digital sales leads for participation in the C2C program+ Collaborate with channel marketing for C2C presence at retail, including retailer online PDPs and in-store displays and shelf space+ Collaborate with Field regional teams for retail assortment of C2C and card printing funding+ Manage ongoing operations of Digital at Retail Tool (DART) used by publishing partners and retailers participating in digital sales programs; and oversee technology development, including feature requests, specifications, and bug prioritization (tool is supported by vendor team)+ Work with Brand, PAC and CELA to update packaging+ Prepare Field revenue targets (annual) and analysis to revise forecasts (quarterly)+ P&L management, including program costs (direct, allocated) and economics with partners (e.g., profit margins)**Qualifications**+ 5+ years of experience working in the Video Game Industry OR 5+ years working with retailers to sell digital content or currency+ Proven track record of earning trust and exceling at collaboration is required, as this role is dependent on engagement and results from many partner and stakeholder teams+ Strong account relationship management+ Strong project management and communication skills+ Excellent facilitation and presentation skillsMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
