First time hire Nuclear Med Technologists are eligible for our $30,000 sign-on bonus. We are also offering $5,000 toward relocation assistance for new hires if applicable.

Responsibilities

Performs ordered nuclear medicine examinations and Bone Densitometry of appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and

protocols
2. Administers radiopharmaceutical agents under supervision of Radiologist
3. Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedure
4. Able to use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation as necessary.
5. Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images,

and print from PACS.
6. Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
7. Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the department
8. Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
9. Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures


Qualifications

Certification
by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB), Licensed by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) for Nuclear Medicine Technologist, and Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS),
Required Education
accredited college or technical school for Nuclear Medicine

No experience required-new grads accepted!

PREFERRED Education and/or Experience
: Nuclear Med Technologist experience in a Critical Access Hospital preferred
