Benedictine Living Community
– Dickinson  is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to work as our Environmental Services Director.

The successful candidate will supervise and motivate associates through professional and positive leadership, and by collaborating with others at all levels.

Compensation and benefits are very competitive for this full-time position.


The Environmental Services Director is responsible for overseeing the environmental service department, which includes housekeeping, laundry, plant operations, and maintenance.


Manages the selection, training, development, and performance of the department’s staff.

Manages the department’s budget and participates in the strategic planning for the community.

Manages maintenance, general repairs, and construction work to the facility and general repairs to the residents’ equipment.


Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license as appropriate and acceptable driving record that meets BHS requirements.

Two (2) years of building maintenance experience.

Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Strong desire to work with the elderly.

Qualifications Preferred
A two (2) year degree in building maintenance field.

Experience in a health care setting.

Five (5) years of manager experience.
